Just In Style NY is a hair salon at 871 Willis Avenue in Albertson, New York, in Nassau County. Many of our guests live a short drive away along Willis Avenue or I.U. Willets Road, in the hamlets and villages that sit between Mineola and Roslyn. We also see guests from farther out on Long Island and from Queens. This page explains where we are, how people usually get here, and which towns we serve.

Where we sit

Willis Avenue is the road that ties our part of Nassau County together. It runs north from Old Country Road and Jericho Turnpike in Mineola, up through Williston Park, past our door in Albertson, and on into Roslyn Heights, where it crosses the Northern State Parkway and the Long Island Expressway. North of the Expressway the same road is called Mineola Avenue and ends at Northern Boulevard by Roslyn village. If you know Willis Avenue, you already know how to find us.

Albertson station on the Oyster Bay Branch is the train stop for the salon. It sits on I.U. Willets Road at the Albertson and Roslyn Heights line. There is a free parking lot at the salon and free street parking on the surrounding blocks, so nobody has to circle or feed a meter.

One of our guests, Lisa, wrote in her Google review, after we opened at 871 Willis Avenue in Albertson, that the space is "really nice and so upbeat." Another guest, Desiree, calls us "Just in Style in Roslyn," and plenty of our Roslyn and Roslyn Heights guests think of us that way. Roslyn Heights is the next hamlet north of us on Willis Avenue and Roslyn village is just past it, so we are just down the road either way.

On and beside Willis Avenue

These are the towns on or beside our own road.

• Albertson, NY. Home base. The salon, the parking lot, and the train station are all here, and Albertson shares its 11507 post office with Searingtown next door. See our balayage in Albertson page for what that service looks like at our location.
• Roslyn Heights, NY. The next hamlet north on Willis Avenue. The Albertson train station sits right on the Roslyn Heights line, so the station is as close for Roslyn Heights as it is for us.
• Williston Park, NY. The next village south on Willis Avenue, where Willis crosses Hillside Avenue. Straight up the avenue and you are at our door.
• East Williston, NY. The village that borders Albertson on the south. The East Williston train station is the stop before Albertson on the Oyster Bay Branch.
• Mineola, NY. The south end of Willis Avenue, where it meets Jericho Turnpike and Old Country Road. From the Mineola train station it is one straight run north.
• Garden City Park, NY. Southwest of Mineola along Jericho Turnpike. Come east to Willis Avenue and head north.

West of Willis, along I.U. Willets Road

Herricks and Searingtown sit just west of Albertson, and I.U. Willets Road brings you to Willis Avenue.

• Searingtown, NY. Right next door. Searingtown and Albertson share the same post office, and the line between them is blurry even for people who live here.
• Herricks, NY. Our neighbor to the west. I.U. Willets Road runs through Herricks and straight east to Willis Avenue and our door.
• Manhasset Hills, NY. The neighborhood on the far side of Shelter Rock Road from Herricks. Head east and you reach Willis Avenue in Albertson.

North and east toward Roslyn

The Roslyn villages are just past the Expressway from us, and East Hills and Old Westbury sit east of Roslyn Road.

• Roslyn, NY. At the top of our road, where Mineola Avenue reaches Northern Boulevard. Head south on Mineola Avenue and it becomes Willis Avenue at the Expressway.
• North Hills, NY. The village north of the Expressway around Searingtown Road and Shelter Rock Road. Searingtown Road brings you south toward us.
• Roslyn Estates, NY. The village between Searingtown Road and Mineola Avenue, just north of the Expressway. Mineola Avenue brings you straight down to Willis Avenue, or take Searingtown Road south and come east on I.U. Willets Road.
• East Hills, NY. The village between Roslyn Road and Glen Cove Road, from the Expressway down to the Northern State Parkway. Head south and west and you land on Willis Avenue in Albertson.
• Old Westbury, NY. The village east of East Hills, across Glen Cove Road, and the home of Old Westbury Gardens. The Northern State Parkway and Jericho Turnpike both run toward us.

Guests from across this corridor come in for balayage and blonding, gray coverage, color correction after a color that went wrong somewhere else, formaldehyde-free keratin smoothing, haircuts, and blowouts.
